Woman Declared Dead 7 Years Ago Found Alive and Married; Man Wrongly Jailed for Her ‘Murder’
In a shocking incident that resembles a plot from a film or TV show, a woman who was declared dead seven years ago has been found alive.
The woman, from Uttar Pradesh, was discovered alive and married, while a man has been serving a prison sentence for her alleged murder. According to the police, the woman had eloped with her lover, got married, and moved to Hathras district. Vishnu’s mother, seeking justice for her son who was accused of kidnapping and killing the woman when she was a teenager, approached the court.
Vishnu’s mother informed Aligarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani that she had information about the supposedly deceased girl being alive and married with children. Following Naithani’s order for a probe, the current information surfaced.
Seven years ago, when the incident initially occurred, the woman’s father had identified an unknown body in Agra as his daughter.
Recently, the police produced the woman in Aligarh court and requested a DNA test to confirm her identity. The woman’s father also identified her as his daughter, bringing a shocking twist to the case.
