Woman Bites Mother-in-Law’s Fingers in Loud TV Dispute
In a strange incident from Ambernath in Maharashtra’s Thane district, a 32-year-old woman bit three fingers of her elderly mother-in-law after a fight over a loud television set. The incident happened on Wednesday when the two women clashed over the noise level in their home.
Dispute Over Loud TV
The altercation began when Vrushali Kulkarni, 60, was reciting bhajans while her daughter-in-law, Vijaya Kulkarni, was watching television at a high volume.
A police official stated, “A fight broke out after Vrushali asked Vijaya to reduce the volume. When Vrushali turned off the television, Vijaya grabbed her hand and bit three of her fingers. She also slapped her husband when he tried to stop the argument.”
Police Complaint Filed
Vrushali later filed a complaint at Shivajinagar police station. Authorities registered a criminal case against Vijaya following the complaint.
The shocking incident highlights how family disputes can sometimes escalate into extreme and unexpected actions.
