Unusual Case: Wife Sends Husband to Jail Seven Times and Bails Him Out Later
A peculiar incident has emerged from Gujarat, where a woman has sent her husband to jail on seven occasions.
Premchand Mali and Sonu, residents of Mehsana village in Gujarat, tied the knot in 2001. Despite facing financial struggles, Premchand, the family’s sole breadwinner, supported them. However, disputes between the couple surfaced in 2014, mainly revolving around financial issues.
In 2015, Sonu filed a police complaint against Premchand for domestic violence, leading to his arrest and subsequent court order to pay a monthly allowance of ₹2,000, which he couldn’t afford. This resulted in his imprisonment.
Over the years, Sonu filed multiple complaints against Premchand, resulting in his repeated arrests. Each time, Sonu arranged for his bail after a few months. The local police now express concern over this pattern of behavior.
