A heated argument between a husband and wife took a deadly turn when the wife threatened to have affairs with ten men after their divorce, saying her husband would be powerless to stop her. Enraged by his wife’s words, the husband strangled her to death and then staged the scene to look like a suicide by hanging her from a ceiling fan in their home.
About two months ago, the husband, who is from Khansara, Chhattisgarh, filed a complaint against his wife. According to his complaint, the couple had gone to Lucknow to look for jobs. One day, he caught his wife with another man, leading to a massive argument between them.
On July 5th, the couple returned from Lucknow to Durg, and on July 6th, they arrived in Bemetara. The next day, around 1:30 p.m., the husband asked for a divorce. This led to another fight, during which the wife declared that she would have relationships with ten men in their home after the divorce and that her husband wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. Unable to control his anger, the husband choked his wife to death.
After killing her, he dragged her body into their bedroom and hung her from a ceiling fan to make it look like she had committed suicide. The husband then called the police and fabricated a story about his wife’s suicide. However, the police found evidence that contradicted his claims. Under pressure, the man eventually confessed to murdering his wife.
Police reported that the husband showed no remorse, stating that he believed he was right and that a woman of such “character” deserved to be punished. The police have now arrested him and collected all necessary evidence.
