A 33-year-old woman from Delhi, along with six men, was arrested for planning and carrying out the murder of her husband using contract killers from Uttar Pradesh. The case was solved within 24 hours by the Rohini district police, who discovered the man’s body on Helipad Road near Rithala on Monday morning.
The arrested individuals include Seema, the wife of the deceased, her male companion Gaurav Teotia (27), and five others: Rinku Panwar (22), Saurabh Chaudhary (23), Prashant (22), Vishan Kumar alias Vishnu (18), and Parvinder alias Pummy (23).
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini), Pranav Tayal, Seema and Gaurav had been in a relationship for the past eight years and wanted to live together. They conspired to murder her husband to eliminate him from their lives permanently. They hired contract killers for ₹4 lakh each to carry out the crime.
The murder plot was executed on Monday morning when the victim was shot and killed. With the swift efforts of the Rohini police, all seven suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
