Andhra Woman and Lover Arrested for Killing Husband Over Jewelry
A shocking murder case has come to light in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, where a woman and her lover were arrested for killing her husband. The incident took place on October 31.
Extramarital Affair Leads to Murder Plot
The accused, Anuradha, married Damodar in 2019. Later, she started an illicit relationship with a married man named Gangurajan.
The trouble began when Anuradha secretly gave her wedding jewelry to her lover. Her in-laws later asked for the jewelry, intending to sell it and purchase property. To cover up, she lied, saying the jewelry was at her parents’ home and that she would bring it back after the festive season.
Brutal Attack on Husband
To continue her affair without interference, Anuradha planned to kill her husband. On October 31, she took Damodar out on the pretext of visiting her parents’ house to retrieve the jewelry. On the way, Gangurajan attacked Damodar, threw chili powder on him, and then physically assaulted him, leading to his death.
To mislead the police, Anuradha falsely reported that they were attacked by unknown people who stole their jewelry.
Police Investigation Uncovers the Truth
Upon deeper investigation, the real story emerged. Palamaneru DSP Gangaiah confirmed that both Anuradha and Gangurajan were arrested and have been sent to judicial custody.
This case highlights how greed and betrayal led to a shocking murder in Andhra Pradesh.
