Faridabad Shocker: 22-Year-Old Boy Gang-Raped, Accused Demanded Ransom
In a horrific incident from Faridabad, a 22-year-old boy was gang-raped by four men in an OYO hotel on Friday night. The main accused, Rakesh Sherawat, was a friend of the victim and lured him to the hotel under false pretenses.
How the Incident Unfolded
According to the victim’s statement, Rakesh called him, claiming he was suffering from severe chest pain and needed help. Initially, the victim refused, but Rakesh pleaded with him, saying his health was worsening. Concerned, the victim went to the hotel at Chimni Bai Chowk to check on him.
Once at the hotel, Rakesh offered him a cold drink, after which the victim started feeling dizzy and weak. When Rakesh asked him to remove his clothes, he resisted. However, Rakesh forcefully undressed him and called three more men to the room. The victim eventually lost consciousness.
Ransom Demand and Escape
The next morning, the victim woke up with severe pain in his private parts. He tried to escape, but Rakesh confiscated his phone and called a family member, demanding ransom for his release. The call was made to the victim’s brother’s mother-in-law.
In a desperate attempt to escape, the victim jumped off the hotel balcony. Nearby tea stall vendors saw him and directed him to the police station.
Police Negligence and Arrests
Shockingly, when the victim reported the assault, the police refused to register his complaint and blamed him for the incident. He was detained at the station for over an hour without any assistance.
After a few hours, the police arrested Rakesh Sherawat but also detained the victim without listening to his statement. It was only nine hours later that the police informed his family, as his health had worsened. His family rushed him to the hospital for medical attention.
Demand for Justice
The victim and his family are now demanding a fair investigation and strict punishment for all the accused. This case has raised serious concerns about police negligence and the safety of victims seeking justice.
