In a shocking incident in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district, a woman and her lover have been arrested for the murder of her husband. The crime took place on October 31st.
Anuradha, who married Damodar in 2019, was involved in an extramarital affair with a married man. Trouble began when Anuradha secretly gave her jewelry to her lover. When her in-laws asked about the jewelry, which they wanted to sell to purchase property, Anuradha claimed it was at her parents’ house and promised to retrieve it later.
To continue her affair and eliminate her husband, Anuradha devised a plan to murder him. On October 31st, she took Damodar to her parents’ home under the pretense of collecting the jewelry. During the trip, Anuradha’s lover attacked Damodar by sprinkling chili powder on him and then physically assaulting him.
Anuradha initially reported to the police that they were attacked by unknown assailants who stole the jewelry. However, a thorough investigation revealed the true nature of the crime.
According to Palamaneru DSP Gangaiah, both Anuradha and her lover, Gangurajan, have been arrested and are now in judicial custody.
