Woman Robs Boyfriend and Leaves Him Naked on Shahapur Highway
In a shocking crime reported from Thane, Maharashtra, a 30-year-old woman named Bhavika Bhoir, along with four accomplices, allegedly robbed and assaulted her boyfriend, Balaji Shivbhagat, before abandoning him naked on the Shahapur highway.
The Shahapur police have booked all five accused under IPC Sections 365 (kidnapping), 506 (criminal intimidation), and relevant sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
According to police, Bhavika Bhoir had been in a relationship with Balaji Shivbhagat, a local construction businessman, for several years. On June 28, Bhoir asked Shivbhagat to meet her at Atgaon Highway around 4:30 PM. He arrived with several gifts including a sari, gold jewellery, shoes, and an umbrella.
As they sat inside his Creta car, four men suddenly entered, assaulted Shivbhagat, and drove him to an unknown, closed restaurant. There, they beat him through the night.
Shivbhagat, still recovering in hospital, said, “I did everything for her, from building her a house to buying her whatever she asked for. She betrayed me for another man and left me traumatised.”
The attackers reportedly took two gold chains, seven rings, and even threw chilli powder in his eyes. They also removed his clothes and recorded videos of him in that state before fleeing around 5 AM.
Shivbhagat managed to reach a police station and call his friends, who took him to the hospital for treatment.
Rajkumar Upase, Senior Inspector at Shahapur Police Station, confirmed the victim’s account and stated that further investigation is ongoing to track all accused.
