MP Police Gift Bike to Food Delivery Executive Cycling for Deliveries
In a heartwarming gesture, police officers from Indore’s Vijay Nagar police station gifted a motorcycle to a food delivery executive who was delivering food on a bicycle due to financial constraints.
SHO Tehzeeb Qazi explained that during a patrol, they noticed the delivery executive cycling quickly and drenched in sweat. Upon inquiry, the young man revealed that he couldn’t afford a bike due to financial problems.
The police officers pooled their money to buy a motorcycle for him. “We contributed around Rs 32,000 for the initial payment and the first installment. He has assured us that he’ll manage the remaining installments, but we will help him if needed,” said the police.
The delivery executive expressed his deep gratitude, stating, “Earlier, I used to deliver six to eight food parcels on my bicycle, but now, with the motorcycle, I am able to deliver 15-20 parcels at night.”
This act of kindness from the police reminds us that humanity and compassion still thrive in our society.
