Kerala Couple Plans Suicide Together, But Woman Backs Out at Last Moment
In a shocking incident from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, a couple planned to die together, but the woman changed her mind at the last moment. The 31-year-old man ended his life, while the woman was found crying in their hotel room.
Incident Details
According to reports, the couple checked into a hotel with the intention of taking their lives. However, while the man carried out the act, the woman got scared and backed out. The incident came to light on Monday night when hotel staff heard the woman crying in her room. Upon entering, they found the man hanging and noticed blood on the woman’s ear. The staff immediately alerted the police.
The police arrived at the scene and took the woman to a local hospital, which later referred her to Kottayam Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
Investigation Underway
The woman told authorities that she and her partner had planned to die together. She claimed they took some medicines before the man hanged himself, but she panicked and started screaming. Meanwhile, her family had filed a missing person report after she failed to return home on Sunday.
The police are currently investigating the case, and the exact reason behind their drastic decision remains unknown.
