Aligarh Woman Murders Husband While He Slept, Confesses to Crime
In Aligarh, a woman murdered her husband while he was asleep, citing years of abuse as the motive. The incident took place in Kasba, Kaudiyaganj, where the deceased, identified as Bhavuddin, was regularly intoxicated and physically abusive towards his wife.
The FIR was filed by Bhavuddin’s brother, prompting a police investigation. Initially, the wife claimed that unknown assailants had entered their home and killed her husband, who was sleeping on the terrace. However, the police discovered a sharp weapon in her room, leading to her confession.
The woman revealed that her husband had been beating her for many years, and recently started assaulting their daughter, causing the child to frequently fall ill. Unable to endure the abuse any longer, she planned her husband’s murder. On September 14th, around 4 a.m., she tied his hands and legs while he slept and killed him with a sharp weapon.
The woman has been arrested and is now facing charges for her husband’s murder. This tragic case sheds light on the severe consequences of domestic violence and the lengths to which victims may go when they feel they have no other options.
