Chhattisgarh Man Murders Wife After Heated Argument Over Infidelity
In a shocking incident from Khansara, Chhattisgarh, a man killed his wife after a heated argument about their marriage. The woman had allegedly told her husband that after their divorce, she would have relationships with ten men, and he wouldn’t be able to stop her.
This statement enraged the husband, and in a fit of anger, he choked her to death. After killing her, he tried to stage the murder as a suicide by hanging her from a ceiling fan inside their home.
The couple had moved from Lucknow to Durg, and then to Bemetara on July 6. On July 7, around 1:30 PM, an argument broke out after the husband asked for a divorce. During the quarrel, the wife made the statement about having affairs, which triggered the brutal response from the husband.
Earlier, about two months before the murder, the husband had filed a police complaint against his wife after catching her with another man in Lucknow. The issue led to repeated fights between the two.
After the murder, the husband informed the police and claimed his wife had died by suicide. However, the police grew suspicious as the evidence contradicted his story. After further questioning, the man confessed to the crime.
According to the police, the man showed no remorse, stating that he believed his actions were justified and claimed that “characterless women” deserve such punishment.
The police have arrested the man and collected all necessary evidence to proceed with the case.
