Woman Kills Her Two Young Children for Crying in Maharashtra, Burns Their Bodies
In a deeply disturbing incident from Nanded district in Maharashtra, a 30-year-old woman allegedly killed her two children because they were crying. She then burnt their bodies in a field with help from her family members. Police arrested her, along with her mother and brother.
What Happened?
The accused woman, Dhurpadabai Ganpat Nimalwad, allegedly strangled her four-month-old daughter Anusuya on May 31 because the baby was crying nonstop. The next day, on June 1, she also killed her two-year-old son Datta, who was crying for food.
According to police officials, both murders happened at the family’s home in Pandurna village.
Disposal of the Bodies
On June 5 (Wednesday), Dhurpadabai allegedly burnt the bodies of both children on a pyre in a field. She was helped by her mother, Kondabai Rajemod, and her brother, Madhav Rajemod. Both are from Mukhed taluka and have also been arrested for helping cover up the crime.
Police Action
Local police responded quickly after getting a tip. All three accused – the mother, her brother, and her mother – were taken into custody and are now under investigation. Police have confirmed the timeline and method of the crime.
