In Aligarh, a woman has been arrested for murdering her husband while he was asleep. The victim, Bhavuddin, lived in Kasba, Kaudiyaganj. The police began investigating the case after Bhavuddin’s brother filed an FIR.
Initially, the wife claimed that unknown intruders had broken into their home and killed her husband while he was sleeping on the terrace. However, police later discovered a sharp weapon in the wife’s room, leading her to admit to the crime.
She confessed that her husband had frequently abused her when drunk and had recently started mistreating their daughter, causing her constant illness. Overwhelmed by years of abuse and her daughter’s suffering, the wife planned to kill her husband. On September 14th, around 4 a.m., she tied his legs and hands while he was asleep and attacked him with the weapon.
The woman has been taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
