In a shocking incident from West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas, a woman killed her 4-year-old son after her boyfriend refused to accept the child. The tragic event occurred in Kundakhali village when the mother, Mafuza Piadai, and her boyfriend Abdul Hossain Sheikh (31) planned to elope but Abdul declined to take the child with them.
Mafuza, who had been involved in an extra-marital affair with Abdul, a resident of Ghazir Hat, Kultali, had been meeting him frequently while her husband, Toeb Ali Piadai, was away in Kolkata for work. On Tuesday, the couple decided to run away together and get married. However, Abdul refused to accept her son as part of their future, leading to the horrific crime.
According to the boy’s uncle, Abu Siddiqui Piadai, the child had been subjected to ongoing abuse before he was brutally beaten to death. The toddler was found dead near the veranda of his home by locals who immediately informed the police.
Inspector Masood Hasan, Additional Police Super of Baruipur district, confirmed that the body showed signs of severe physical abuse. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death. Both Mafuza and Abdul are on the run, and authorities are working to locate them.
The child’s father has also been notified and is expected to file a formal complaint with the Baruipur Police Station.
