Shocking Incident: Woman Allegedly Kills Crying Infant and Toddler, Burns Their Bodies in Maharashtra
In a tragic and horrifying case from Nanded district, Maharashtra, a 30-year-old woman allegedly killed her four-month-old daughter and two-year-old son over their constant crying. She later burned their bodies with the help of her mother and brother, according to local authorities.
Case Details
The accused, identified as Dhurpadabai Ganpat Nimalwad, reportedly strangled her infant daughter, Anusuya, on May 31 after she wouldn’t stop crying. The following day, she killed her son, Datta, in a similar manner when he cried out for food.
The shocking incidents occurred in Pandurna village on May 31 and June 1. On June 7, Dhurpadabai, along with her mother, Kondabai Rajemod, and brother, Madhav Rajemod, allegedly burned the children’s bodies on a pyre in a field. Both accomplices are residents of Mukhed taluka.
Arrests and Investigation
Police arrested Dhurpadabai, her mother, and her brother after uncovering their involvement in the crime. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation into this disturbing incident.
