A woman was arrested in Vijayawada for attacking an APSRTC bus driver near Andhra Hospitals on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred around 5 pm when the woman drove her two-wheeler in the wrong direction towards Andhra Hospitals.
As she approached, the bus driver asked her to wait until the bus passed. This request led to a heated argument between them, during which the woman verbally abused the driver and physically attacked him. Despite attempts by the bus conductor and passengers to stop her, they were unsuccessful.
The bus conductor reported the attack to the police, who arrived at the scene and took the woman into custody. According to Inspector Ramayya, a case has been filed against her under the relevant sections based on the bus driver’s complaint.
