In Haryana, a wife and her lover were arrested for the murder of her army husband, Praveen Kumar. Praveen was found dead under suspicious circumstances while returning home on vacation. Initially, his family claimed he had died from a heart attack after a night of feeling dizzy. He was declared dead upon arrival at Dadri Civil Hospital.
However, the investigation revealed a different story. The police discovered that the wife and her lover had given Praveen sleeping pills the night before he died and then strangled him. The post-mortem report, released a week after Praveen’s funeral with full state honors, showed that he had died from strangulation and suffocation, not a heart attack.
Following this revelation, the police registered a murder case and continued their investigation. During questioning, Praveen’s wife, Monica, confessed that she and her friend, Vicky, had planned the murder. Monica admitted to giving Praveen the sleeping pills and then strangling him with Vicky’s help.
Both Monica and Vicky have been arrested and are facing charges related to the murder.
