Bihar: Woman and Her Lover Hire Killers to Murder Husband in Gopalganj
In a shocking crime from Gopalganj, Bihar, a woman and her lover planned the murder of her husband by hiring two contract killers. The woman, Noorjahan Khatoon, was having an extra-marital affair while her husband, Ish Mohammad, was working abroad.
The crime took place on Sunday night at Ladhpur village, under the Sripur police outpost. When Ish Mohammad returned to India and started a fish business, he discovered his wife’s affair with Naushad Alam, a local resident from Bathua Bazar.
According to Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat, Ish tried to stop Noorjahan from continuing the relationship, which led her to plot his murder. She asked her boyfriend Naushad to arrange contract killers. He then contacted Mansoor Alam from Balepur village and Parvez Ansari, offering them ₹50,000 to carry out the killing.
The killers arrived at Ish Mohammad’s house and shot him while he was sleeping outside. Noorjahan reportedly watched the murder from a window.
After a detailed investigation, the police identified Noorjahan as the main suspect. During questioning, she confessed to planning her husband’s murder. The police have arrested Naushad Alam and the two shooters.
Authorities also seized a country-made pistol, three live bullets, five mobile phones, and a bike used in the crime.
The case highlights a chilling murder conspiracy fueled by betrayal and greed. The police are continuing further investigation into the matter.
