Telangana Student Beheads Friend in Brutal Revenge for Harassing Girlfriend
In a horrifying incident, a 21-year-old engineering student in Telangana brutally murdered his friend by beheading him, cutting open his stomach, and ripping out his heart as an act of revenge. The accused, P Hari Hara Krishna, later surrendered to the police, revealing the shocking details of the crime.
Victim Was Allegedly Harassing Accused’s Girlfriend
The victim, N Naveen, was a 22-year-old student at Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College, Nalgonda. The crime took place on February 18 at Pedda Amberpet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
According to the police investigation, Naveen and Krishna were former classmates. During their college years, Naveen had been in a relationship with a girl, but the two later broke up. She later entered into a relationship with Krishna, and Naveen allegedly began harassing her through calls and messages.
Three months ago, the girl informed Krishna about the harassment, and Krishna plotted revenge.
Accused Lured Victim Before Brutally Killing Him
On February 17, Krishna invited Naveen for a get-together. After dinner at Krishna’s house in Dilsukhnagar, they roamed around Hyderabad before Krishna offered to drop Naveen at his college hostel. However, instead of taking him back, Krishna drove him to an isolated area in Pedda Amberpet.
According to the police, Krishna purchased a knife and alcohol before attacking Naveen. In a drunken rage, he strangled Naveen with a rope, beheaded him, and ripped out his heart. He also chopped off the victim’s private parts and fingers before leaving the body in the deserted area.
Accused Surrenders, Victim’s Family Demands Justice
The crime only came to light after Krishna surrendered at the Abdullapurmet police station and confessed. Naveen’s family, who had already filed a missing complaint, staged a protest demanding justice.
Krishna was arrested for murder, destroying evidence, and charged under the SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The police are continuing their investigation into the gruesome case.
