Noida Doctor Falls Victim to Marriage Scam, Robbed of Jewelry and Cash
A shocking incident has emerged from Noida where a doctor from the district hospital has accused five individuals of fraud, theft, and threats. The doctor claims he was trapped in a fake marriage, robbed of his jewelry and money, and later threatened with harm.
Details of the Incident
According to Manoj Kumar Singh, Inspector in-charge of Police Station Sector-20, Dr. Ravindra Kumar, who works at the district hospital in Sector-30, filed a police complaint. The doctor alleges that Twinkle Bharti, along with Harendra Bhati, Vijendra, and Madan, stole gold and silver jewelry along with around Rs. 1.5 lakh in cash from his residence.
Dr. Kumar reported that Twinkle Bharti initially pretended to be in love with him, discussing marriage to gain his trust. Over time, she allegedly began transferring money from his account to her sister’s account. When Dr. Kumar confronted her and refused to transfer more funds, she allegedly involved her accomplices, Bijendra Bhati and Madan, who started threatening him.
Police Investigation Underway
Based on Dr. Kumar’s complaint, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh confirmed that further details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
