Punjab Man Wakes Up from 16-Month Coma, Accuses Wife and Her Lover of Murder Attempt
In a shocking incident from Moga, Punjab, a man who came out of a coma after 16 months has exposed a murder plot by his wife and her lover.
The victim, Ravi Singh, was seriously injured in an attack in December 2021. After regaining consciousness, he told the police that his wife, Rimpi Kaur, and her lover, Bahadur Singh, planned to kill him. Based on his statement, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.
Ravi said that on December 10, 2021, he was riding his motorcycle near the electricity house in Dala, when two men — Deep Singh and Bahadur Singh — stopped him and started beating him. They then took him to an abandoned petrol pump in Bilaspur.
There, Deep Singh, who is Ravi’s brother-in-law, held his arms while Bahadur Singh hit him on the head with an iron rod, making him unconscious. Later, the attackers told his family that Ravi had been injured in a road accident.
His family, unaware of the truth, admitted him to Moga Government Hospital, and later shifted him to Oswal Hospital due to his critical condition. He went into a coma and remained unconscious for over a year.
After 16 months, Ravi regained consciousness and told the full story. He revealed that his wife was in an illicit relationship with Bahadur Singh, which he opposed. Because of this, Rimpi and her lover made a plan to kill him.
Following his statement, police filed a case against Rimpi Kaur, Bahadur Singh, and Deep Singh. So far, Deep Singh has been arrested. The police are still searching for Rimpi and her lover Bahadur.
