In a tragic incident in Firozpur, Punjab, Jaswinder Singh, a 37-year-old man, committed suicide along with his daughter, brother, and nephew. Jaswinder drove his car into a river at high speed, ending all four lives. Before taking this drastic step, he recorded a video and posted it on social media, where he tearfully blamed his wife for his actions.
In the video, Jaswinder accused his wife of having an extramarital affair. He explained that she had left him and their children to live with her lover. Despite reaching out to the man involved, Jaswinder was met with abuse instead of support.
Eyewitnesses quickly alerted the authorities, and a rescue team managed to recover the bodies after hours of searching.
Jaswinder’s brother revealed that the wife had been in a relationship with a financier for the past three years. The financier had even rented a room in the same colony where they all lived. Jaswinder had repeatedly tried to intervene, but his pleas were ignored. His wife’s family also supported her actions, worsening the situation.
Before his death, Jaswinder frequently went live on social media, sharing his pain, but no one offered him help. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
