In a disturbing incident from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a man was attacked by a group of young men for allegedly kissing his wife while they were bathing in the Saryu River. The shocking event was caught on mobile cameras, and the video has since gone viral on social media.
The video shows angry youths dragging the man out of the river, slapping him, abusing him, and punching him repeatedly. One of the attackers can be heard in the video shouting, “This kind of vulgarity will not be allowed in Ayodhya.”
Even though the man’s wife tried to stop the crowd, she couldn’t protect him from being beaten once he was pulled to the riverbank.
According to reports, Ayodhya’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Pandey confirmed that the video is about a week old. So far, no official complaint (FIR) has been filed regarding the incident.
