Man Attacked for Kissing Wife in Public at Saryu River in Ayodhya

In a shocking incident from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a man was attacked by a group of young men for allegedly kissing his wife while bathing in the Saryu River. The incident, captured on mobile cameras, quickly went viral on social media on Wednesday evening.

The video shows the man being dragged out of the river by a group of angry youths. He was then slapped, verbally abused, and repeatedly beaten. One of the attackers is heard saying, “This vulgarity will not be tolerated in Ayodhya.”

The man’s wife tried to shield him from the crowd, but her efforts were overpowered as the mob continued their assault after pulling him to the riverbank.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Pandey, the video is reportedly a week old, and no formal complaint has been filed yet. Police are working to identify the couple and stated that appropriate action will be taken against the attackers if an FIR is lodged.
