Faridabad Shocker: 22-Year-Old Male Survivor Seeks Justice After Alleged Gang Rape

Faridabad: 22-Year-Old Male Alleges Gang Rape by Four Men, Family Demands Justice

In a deeply disturbing incident from Faridabad, a 22-year-old male has alleged that he was gang raped by four men, including a close acquaintance, inside an OYO hotel room located near Chimni Bai Chowk.

According to the survivor, the main accused, Rakesh Sherawat, who was known to him, called and asked for help, claiming he was suffering from chest pain and feeling very unwell. Initially, the survivor hesitated due to prior commitments, but eventually agreed after repeated requests.

When he arrived at the hotel, Rakesh offered him a cold drink, after which the survivor started feeling dizzy and weak. The accused then asked him to remove his clothes, but the survivor refused. Rakesh forcefully undressed him and called three other men to the room. The survivor said he soon lost consciousness.

Upon waking up the next morning, he experienced severe pain in his private parts and tried to flee, but was unable to. The accused allegedly took his phone and dialed a family contact—his brother’s mother-in-law—demanding ransom for his release.

In a desperate attempt to escape, the survivor jumped off the hotel balcony. Some people near a tea stall saw his condition and helped him with the location of the nearest police station.

However, when he approached the police, he faced further trauma. His complaint was not registered immediately, and the officer in charge blamed him for the incident. He was kept waiting at the station for more than an hour.

Eventually, police arrested Rakesh Sherawat, but in a shocking twist, both the survivor and the accused were detained, and the survivor’s version of events was not heard properly. Only after 9 hours, and due to his declining health, was his family contacted. They immediately took him to the hospital for treatment.

Now, the survivor and his family are demanding a fair investigation and strict action against all the accused. They are also seeking accountability from the police for their initial negligence in handling the case.
