Maharashtra Woman Arrested for Killing Infant Daughter Over Family Comments
In a shocking crime, a woman from Nashik, Maharashtra, was arrested for murdering her 3-month-old daughter. She reportedly killed the child because she was upset with her in-laws frequently commenting that the baby looked like her husband, police officials revealed.
Mother Initially Lied About the Incident
The incident took place in the Gangapur Shivar area. Initially, the woman claimed that an unknown person had entered their home on Monday evening, made her unconscious with a chemical, and then killed the baby by slitting her throat.
However, police investigations, including CCTV footage and circumstantial evidence, did not support her claims. Officers also found inconsistencies in the statements given by her and her relatives.

Upon further questioning, the woman eventually confessed to the crime. She admitted that she was deeply upset with her in-laws, who repeatedly talked about how the baby looked like her husband.
