Factory Worker Allegedly Kidnapped and Assaulted by Four Women in Jalandhar
A disturbing case has emerged from Jalandhar, Punjab, where a factory worker was allegedly kidnapped by four women and held hostage overnight. Reports indicate that the incident occurred on Sunday night when the victim was returning home from work.
Allegations of Kidnapping and Assault
According to the victim, the four women arrived in a car on Leather Complex Road and asked him for directions. While he was assisting them, they allegedly made him unconscious using a scented substance and forced him into the car. He later woke up tied with ropes and without clothes in an unknown location.
The victim claimed that he was held captive for 11 to 12 hours and was subjected to sexual assault throughout the night. Around 3 AM, the women reportedly abandoned him on the road and fled the scene.
Victim Hesitant to File Complaint
Despite the gravity of the allegations, the factory worker has not yet filed a formal complaint with the police. He revealed his ordeal to the media but expressed hesitation in approaching law enforcement due to fear of embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Gagandeep Singh Sekhon, in charge of Thana Basti Bawa police station, stated that no complaint had been received so far. “We will take appropriate action and initiate an investigation once a formal complaint is lodged,” he assured.
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities have urged the victim to come forward and file a complaint so that the investigation can proceed. The case has sparked discussions about safety and crime in the region, with many calling for a thorough probe into the matter.
The police continue to monitor the situation and are prepared to take necessary action once the victim officially reports the incident.
