Shocking Incident in Sonipat

In a recent incident from Sandal Khurd village in Sonipat, Haryana, a 75-year-old mother-in-law alleged that she was assaulted by her daughter-in-law for eating an extra roti. According to the elderly woman, the dispute began when her young grandson offered her an additional loaf of bread, which she accepted. This led to her daughter-in-law, Manisha, allegedly assaulting her.

A video of the incident has surfaced online, showing the daughter-in-law beating the elderly woman. After the video went viral, the police registered a case based on the mother-in-law’s complaint.

Complaint Filed

The elderly woman reported the matter to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), stating that her daughter-in-law Manisha only provides her two rotis twice a day. She explained that five days ago, her grandson gave her an extra roti, and since then, Manisha had been physically assaulting her.

The complaint further detailed that when the elderly woman’s son, Mukesh, confronted his wife about the violence, another argument erupted, during which Manisha allegedly attacked her husband as well.
