Delhi Woman Bites Husband’s Ear in Sultanpuri During Argument, FIR Registered

A strange and violent incident was reported in Sultanpuri, Delhi, where a woman allegedly bit off part of her husband’s ear during a heated argument. The 45-year-old husband had to undergo surgery after his right ear was partially severed.

According to the husband, the fight began when he returned home after throwing out the garbage around 9:20 am on November 20. He had asked his wife to clean the house, but an argument broke out soon after.

He told the police that his wife asked him to sell their house and give her a share so that she could live separately with their children. When he tried to calm her down, the verbal fight escalated. She attempted to hit him, and in response, he pushed her away.

As he tried to leave the house, she allegedly grabbed him from behind and bit his right ear in anger. The top part of his ear was bitten off. Their son immediately took him to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri for medical treatment.

Police were informed about the incident by the hospital on the same day. At first, the husband was too unwell to give a statement. He later went to the police station on November 22 and submitted a written complaint.

A senior police officer confirmed that an FIR has been registered under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code (causing hurt using dangerous means). Police are currently investigating the case further.
