Woman and Her Lover Arrested for Husband’s Murder in Andhra Pradesh, Jewellery Used as Clue
In a shocking incident from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, the police have arrested a woman named Anuradha and her lover Gangurajan for allegedly murdering her husband, Damodar, on October 31.
Anuradha, who married Damodar in 2019, later got involved in an extra-marital affair with a married man. Trouble began when she secretly gave her wedding jewellery to her lover without informing anyone.
Later, her in-laws asked about the jewellery, saying they wanted to sell it to buy property. Anuradha told them the ornaments were at her parents’ home and she would bring them after the festival.
However, she had already planned to eliminate her husband. On October 31, she took Damodar with her, saying they would visit her parents’ house to get the jewellery. On the way, her lover attacked Damodar, first throwing chili powder on him and then hitting him fatally.
After the incident, Anuradha filed a false police complaint, claiming that they were attacked by unknown men who stole their jewellery. But during a deeper investigation, the police uncovered the truth.
Palamaneru DSP Gangaiah confirmed that both Anuradha and her lover Gangurajan have been arrested and are now in judicial custody.
This shocking case highlights how greed and betrayal can lead to brutal crimes, and how careful investigation helped the police uncover the truth behind the murder.
