In a tragic incident from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a woman murdered her husband, Bhavuddin, after enduring years of domestic abuse. Bhavuddin, a resident of Kasba, Kaudiyaganj, was reportedly a habitual drunkard who regularly beat his wife and had recently begun abusing their daughter as well.
The case came to light after the deceased man’s brother filed an FIR. Initially, the wife claimed that unknown intruders had entered their home and killed her husband while he slept on the terrace. However, during the investigation, police discovered a sharp weapon in her room. Confronted with evidence, the woman confessed to the crime.
According to her statement, the abuse had been ongoing for years. Her husband’s violent behavior, especially toward their daughter, left the child frequently unwell. Unable to tolerate the situation any longer, the woman planned to end the suffering.
On September 14, at around 4 a.m., while her husband was asleep, she tied his hands and legs and fatally attacked him with the sharp weapon. The woman has since been arrested and is now in police custody.
This case highlights the grim reality of domestic abuse and its devastating consequences for families.
