Three Fraudsters, Including a Woman, Arrested in Guwahati for Duping People
Guwahati police have busted a fraud racket, arresting three individuals involved in forgery. The suspects, two men and one woman, were nabbed in the Odalbakra area of Guwahati.
The arrested individuals are Nikita Tiyari, Jyotishman Lahkar, and Rajesh Mandal. Nikita is from Guwahati’s Rehabari area, Jyotishman is from Geetanagar, and Rajesh hails from Nagaland.
Nikita is linked to a mobile theft case registered at Paltan Bazar police station. The trio has been duping people across various areas of the state.
Recent reports indicate that Nikita was conducting fraudulent activities by posing as a real estate agent. The police have registered a case against all three accused, and the investigation is ongoing.
