In a shocking incident from Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, a 28-year-old woman named Aarti Rajput was arrested after beating her teenage brother when he stopped her from making an Instagram reel. The situation escalated when the brother went to the police and filed a complaint against his sister.
When female police officers arrived at their house to investigate, Aarti became aggressive and misbehaved with the authorities. The police arrested her and took her to the station, where she continued to abuse and argue with the officers.
According to her brother, Aarti was addicted to creating Instagram reels. When he tried to stop her that day, she became enraged, physically assaulted him, and even attempted to strangle him.
The police have charged Aarti under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation), 332 (causing hurt to deter a public servant), 352 (assault), 353 (assault on a public servant), 186 (obstructing public servants), and 224 (resistance to lawful apprehension).
