In a surprising incident from the Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, a newlywed woman, married just one and a half months ago, was discovered to be four months pregnant. This revelation led her in-laws to file a police complaint against her.
The in-laws learned about the pregnancy when the woman complained of abdominal pain. Concerned, they took her for a sonography, where it was revealed that she was already four months pregnant.
After discovering the pregnancy, the husband refused to take his wife back home and lodged a written complaint with the police. He claimed he was deceived even before he could settle into married life. The husband and his family have accused the bride and her parents of fraud, alleging that they were aware of her pregnancy before the marriage but chose to hide the truth.
