In a shocking incident in Punjab, four women allegedly kidnapped a factory worker in Jalandhar and held him hostage overnight. The man, who was returning from work, was reportedly abducted by the women on Sunday night. He claims that the women sexually assaulted him throughout the night.
After the ordeal, the women left the man on the road and fled. The incident came to light when the man shared his story with the media, although he has not yet filed a formal complaint.
The victim recounted that the four women approached him in a car on Leather Complex Road, asking for directions. When he tried to help, they made him unconscious with a strong fragrance. The man then found himself tied up and unclothed at an unknown location.
According to the victim, the women, aged between 22 and 23, kept him hostage for 11 to 12 hours before abandoning him on the road around 3 am. Fearful of public shame, he has not yet contacted the police.
Gagandeep Singh Sekhon, the in-charge of Thana Basti Bawa police station, stated that no complaint has been registered so far. He assured that the police would take action and start an investigation once a complaint is lodged.
